Portland Day 2

Day 2 in Portland started out with a little rain and typical North West weather which was totally fine with me. After some coffee we decided to gear up and head to Timberline to do a little bit of snow shredding. Winter is not in full swing yet, but it was still fun to get back on the snow after a summer of thinking about it.

BJ getting his board ready with a new sticker job for the season. This sticker job will be updated and changed about 16 time through the season
I was thinking about going and getting my hair cut here just becuase of the name
I was totally blown away by the fact that you can't pump your own gas in Oregon. They have gas station attendents who pump your gas and wash your windows for you. California needs these guys. As a bonus we only paid $1.73 per gallon.
This is the look on my face I get when I am about to eat Tater Tots.
Looking down the run at Timberline. There were a bunch of little jibs and lips in all the gullies. I also managed to get some sweet base shots on all the rocks hidden under the snow.
K2's BJ Linnberg and his lady Trusnow.com's Courtney Wilson
Riding up the lift
This is the lodge where they filmed The Shining. Pretty creepy even just looking at the thing from the outside
Mule and the boys at Celtek geting a little bit of sticker love in the lodge
Beautiful day at Timberline

Portland Day 1

6:10am flight equals not fun. Got to the airport with plenty of time to spare but my morning brain doesn't turn on until 7:30am. I stood in the Southwest line for 30 minutes until I realized I was really on United. I missed my flight, but luckily was able to get on the next one. Goodtimes! Luckily the San Diego airport now has free wireless internet so I was able to catch up on my Lakai Epicly Later'd.
Here is my tour guide/beard growing coach for the weekend. Ladies and gentleman.......the one and only BJ Linnberg
Always on the clock. It's a tough job but someone has to do it.
Me and BJ back in 2006 (or maybe 2005) back when I used to be tan
Chase from Industrial Rideshop in Clakamas likes Corey Smith. So much infact he decided to get his art tattooed on his forearm. He also has a Key to the City tat on the other side
BJ's brother, Jim, gave this painting of himself to Dan for his wedding a few years back. BJ noticed it was just sitting in Dans basement so he gave it a proper home. It now proudly hangs above the bed in his guestroom
Dan is so rich he got a urinal installed in his house
One of the best parts about going to the North West is that every where you eat offers tater tots. A restaurant in San Diego could sell tater tots and make a killing. I should buy a hot dog cart, convert it to a tater tot cart, sit out front of the Saloon at closing time and run the egg roll lady out of business and make millions

Almost Mine.......

AZ badass Jake Hobbs has scratched my itch and I am now the proud owner of a 1975 CB550. It's sitting in his garage in Tempe, AZ getting a little TLC and getting blacked the frig out! Now I just need to figure out how I am going to get out there and pick it up!
