Bear Mtn is on point right now. Brent and I loaded up the car and headed up there before the sun was even up. Quite possibly the earliest I have ever left for Bear.

Secret Spot

Jeremy Jones and Seth Huot may have "The Spot" out in Salt Lake City, but us Southern California shredders have our own Secret Spot. Okay, Okay it might not be that big of secret considering it has 3 chairlifts and lift tickets but it is still somewhat of a secret. Loaded up the car early in the morning to get there at a decent time. No lift lines, the best snow Southern California has seen in years and a couple friends make for a really good time.

One night about 5 years ago BJ and I were sitting in our house and this montage came on AFV. I have never laughed so hard in my entire life. Since then I have dedicated at least 30 seconds a week to tracking down this video. Since AFV doesn't allow stuff on youtube.com it was hidden deep in the realms of the world wide web. Those 7,800 seconds really paid off. Enjoy.

Storms have been hammering the West Coast. I have lived in San Diego pretty much all my life and I have never seen it rain as much as it did today. Most of the time rain means snow.
