Palm Springs or Bust!

What's better than riding 2 under powered 1970's Honda's 238 miles? Having it be 121 degrees! Super fun weekend in Palm Springs. Stayed at the new Ace Hotel, saw the boys from Epidemic, cruised downtown Palm Springs and spent over 6 consecutive hours in the pool.

Ate at George's Burgers on a tip from Glen at Epidemic. The food was amazing. The cook told us that we couldn't put ketchup on our burgers and don't even try to dip it in ketchup either or he will kick us out
These guys were ruling this bar. They played every good sing a long 80's song in the book. Dance floor cleared when they busted into some Alice and Chains.

Death Cab for Cutie with 399 of my closest friends

Death Cab for Cutie played a "secret show" at the Belly Up Tavern on July 3rd. This place is pretty small compared to the venues Death cab have sold out this month, i.e. Hollywood Bowl. Luckily Mikey Todd managed to round up 2 tickets for this show and was kind enough to take me. I didn't even have to put out, what a gentleman. The sound was the best I have ever heard Belly Up. They had 3 rules this night....No Re-entry, no smoking and NO CAMERAS!!! I have to sneak these photos on my iphone before security flashed me out with a light. Great night.

If anyone ever askes you to help them anchor 200 sq ft of floatables at the beach during 4th of July make sure you are long gone when it comes time to bring them home.

Are you kidding me? Volcom's United Nations at the Berrics is out of this world man! Not only is the skating top notch but they used a Golden Earring song! Well done boys.
