Shaun White's Own Private Colorado

It must be nice to ride for a company that builds you your own private halfpipe at 12,300ft in the Colorado backcountry. Red Bull and Oakley build Shaun his own private training facility in the backcountry of Silverton, Colorado. According to reports this thing cost 500k to build and comes complete with a foam pit on one of the walls. What trips me out is how this thing sits in the direct path of about 5 slide paths!

Best Week Ever

Jeff Pensiero and his staff up at Bald Face Lodge in the mountains outside of Neslon, B.C. have a good things going on. I had the trip of my life shredding lines that have not been ridden all year, partying with the staff and laughing with my Co-Workers from Electric. I got my heart thumping a couple of times which to me is what snowboarding is all about! Here are a few sample photos. Click the link below to see all the photos.

In an effort to make the world a better place by spreading the world about Gil Mantera's Party Dream I have some news.

2. Gil Mantera's Party Dream will be melting faces at the Casbah on February 17th. I know it's a school night but I can promise it will be worth it.

SIA Randomness

It was last years SIA in Vegas. Next year it will be in Denver which is met with mixed reviews. I am sad because that means I will never have to go to Vegas ever again unless I have a friend who gets married at a drive through chapel and they need a witness and I am the only person left at the bar and get in their cab and head to Vegas.
This kids comes up to the Volcom booth and hits me up for a XXXL T-shirt. He might have been a midget.

Nate Coan is going to start giving "wildstyle" black jack lessons. I am going to be the first one to sign up.

Volcom Ent.'s Tweak Bird showed the mall whose boss. Mall security was baffled as what to do when a band plays in a store. We have to pull the plug after a quick set

The Volcom Store had tons of old ads, posters and other goodies. Here we have an old ad with Punker Pat. I used to watch Punker's fottage in Stoney Baloney over and over and over.
